These chicken wings are absolutely delicious and this is my favorite way to cook chicken wings. So crispy on the outside yet still moist on the inside. The flavor of these is truly amazing. You really need to try them. Eat these on their own or serve them with the Sour Cream Dipping Sauce, which also features below in the recipe. Try some celery sticks on the side as well for a traditional touch. If you want a more traditional Ranch Dressing to serve these with, this delicious recipe is also low carb and sugar free. You may be wondering why I add a little baking powder to the chicken. The baking soda actually raises the pH levels in the chicken, allowing the peptide bonds in the skin to break down. This then enables the skin to become more crisp. Feel free to leave out the baking powder as the wings will still really crispen up cooked this way regardless.

The sauce was a paste when I made it so I added chicken broth and apple cider vinegar. Add 2 teaspoons of coconut oil to the tray with the chicken and transfer to the oven to bake for 25 minutes. Preheat the oven to degrees Fahrenheit. Flavour spot on- will be making a double batch next time as the whole house couldnt get enough of them haha. Oh and these BBQ wings are wonderful!
